Eye had a wonderful time in Minneapolis on 07.07.07 ~ what a lovely place 2 visit ~ and here's a reply given 2 the question Patty asked on the Purple Music Mansion, Prince board, "How (for those of us blessed enough 2 B in MPLS on 7.7.7) did the weekend make U feel with respect to your ability to endure almost anything for the Purple One?"

Eye don't feel like there was anything much 2b endured... eye stayed in line almost all night Friday night because eye wanted 2 ~ n had a blast!!! Nothing 2 endure there... went back n slept a bit, n got up again 2 c how things were going 4 Susan in the line ~ went back 2 the hotel again, n Barbara told me, "Come on, we're getting the Macy's wristbands." So off we went again... Now we had our "in first" wristbands 4 the Macy's show n we went back n relaxed n showered 2 go pick up the wristbands 4 the after-show... That got a little trying 4 me only at the end, when First Ave opened their doors later than 3:00... n the crunch of people, who had not been on line all morning, pushing 2b first near the door at around 3:00 almost made me go down... but God sent a cool, sweet, refreshing breeze 2 help us out... Eye still am grateful 2 Him n His Mother 4 that... Things like that show me just how much they care about even the little things that we do...

Then, even though it was after 3:00, when they said they would no longer place us in line according to the "line number" on our "early" wristbands, Macy's still honored our "get in first" red wristbands ~ n God bless Prince 4 being late... his timing was perfect 4 EVERYONE who had Macy's tickets, n who also wanted 2 purchase wristbands at First Avenue 4 the after-show, 2 make it back on time 4 the show at Macy's... did Prince plan it that way... perhaps... but even if he didn't ... eye happen 2 think the late start happened 4 a reason ~ and the shows all happened in God's good time.

The show at Macy's was fabulous, LOVED the music goin down at the Target Center, n what can eye say about First Avenue... wow! It's really 2 bad that the police shut him down early in the morning ~ sure'nuf miss Vegas where he could play until he dropped... Oh gosh, I'd love 4 him 2 come back...

And, other than going 2 c Prince, eye loved going 2 the Waterfall best ~ and, when u go down 2 the base of the falls, over 2 the left there is a path that can b followed down the stream that the waterfall takes. We saw a mother duck teaching the ways of the water 2 her 7 little ducklings ~ it was so cute n sweet! And it wasn't us who counted her babies, it was someone else there who counted their number... Good number, eye think, 4 Prince's 07.07.07 Homecoming. Anyways, b4 we all saw the ducks, my friends gave me quite a long time 2 sit there alone... Eye truly appreciated the time and space ~ it was so very peaceful n so refreshing 4 my soul 2 sit there n think n pray... Eye believe that eye got so much of my strength 4 the weekend there from the One Above Who Loves us way more than we can ever imagine...

Will eye go back? Yes. Eye was kinda thinking 06.07.08 ~ eye like that date, it's special... Even if Prince isn't playing maybe even ~ or maybe 4 just a few more days when he is... Eye managed, on this trip, 2 find 2 Catholic churches in my walks around town, so eye'd b able 2 attend Mass any day that eye wished, which is good 2 know 4 future visits... There's much more of that park that eye want 2 xplore ~ n more things eye want 2 c around Mpls also... gosh, eye'm going 2 have 2 learn how 2 use the navigation system in these new rental cars if'in eye want 2 travel all over! And the next time eye hope 2 remember 2 bring my camera! Living like eye do 4 now, in Vegas, eye so much miss n long 4 the fields n the flowers n the forest ~ all that green is my favorite of all the beauty of the world that God has given us... So, yes, eye do so very much want 2 go back again n again n again...
