   I view Art as an uplifting of our soul to the Creator.  A moment in time given where our spirit can soar pondering the exquisite beauty that surrounds us.

Description:  This is the final color piece in the Golden Mean project. I see the two beautiful stories of Mary Magdalene being told here. First is Jesus' Resurrection that can be seen by His wounds and the burial cloth He is wearing.  Mary went to the tomb to further anoint His body. Her tearful dismay at finding the tomb empty was turned to joy when He made known to her that He is Risen!

The other story that I love of Mary is told in the elements highlighted in this picture. She went to Him and washed his feet, drying them with her hair.  She anointed His head with fine perfume. She is forgiven much because she loves much. Mary is always reaching out to her Lord, and He has always extended His hand in blessing to her.
